📋 The Mission Statement (Sort Of)
Danger Girls Adventures was founded in 2007 on a single, unbreakable truth: You don’t have to be a professional extreme-sports athlete to find absolute chaos in nature.
While other outdoor sites show you sleek, slow-motion footage of people scaling Everest without sweating, we are here to document what happens when regular people try to hike a flat trail and get outsmarted by a stationary rock. We believe in fresh air, campfire cooking, and the healing power of a cartoon band-aid.

🩹 Lynn — Chief Navigator & Slapstick Coordinator
Special Skills: Finding the one exposed tree root in a 5-mile radius; getting trapped in sweaters; protecting iced coffee during a fall.
Signature Move: The "Superman Slide" across loose gravel and walking into every spider web on the trail.
Danger Philosophy: "If it’s not a shortcut, why does it look like a shortcut?"
Current Injury Count: Proud member (and frequent contributor) of the 100 Injury Club.
🗺️ Danger Girl Di — Co-Captain & Adventure Inspiration
Special Skills: High-speed skiing; mountain goat trail hopping; translating GPS lies and spontaneous hilarity.
Signature Move: Skiing a black diamond slope with floppy cross country skis and being the Precipice Monster.
Danger Philosophy: "Don't stop...the bugs will eat you up!"
Current Injury Count: Amazingly low, mostly just side cramps from laughing.
🐈 The True Mastermind: Danger Kitty Gracie
No expedition team is complete without a basecamp commander. Gracie oversaw all of the Danger operations from the comfort of the couch.
While we were out battling the elements, Gracie was at home executing tactical 3:00 AM parkour, defending the living room from rogue street light shadows, and ensuring the gravity matrix still works by knocking pens off the kitchen counter. She has her own subsite because her ego simply wouldn't fit on this page (RIP my sweet friend).
How did the whole 'Danger Girls' name begin? In 2001, Danger Girl Di and her friends (Michelle, Lisa, Nancy & Sherry) went to a cross country skiing event. Danger Girl Di and her gal pal Michelle skied down a black diamond slope with long, floppy cross country skis on. Amazingly, they managed to successfully swish to the bottom without falling! Upon which, Di declared "Wooohooo! Now that's how Danger Girls do it!" and from that point forward the title stuck to her. She's the original Danger Girls Adventures founder and continues to be a positive example of strong women pushing the edges of their fears.
What is a 'Danger Girl'? She's someone who pushes past her fears, no matter what they are, to live her life to 'her' fullest. She faces life with a 'can do' attitude and a zest for adventures.
The Danger Girls title has expanded to include many, many honorary Danger Girls and continues to grow as we meet more and more adventurous women who play outdoors!
