Danger Kitty Gracie

This short story series is based on a noir-style investigative kitty, a tech-sabotaging squirrel syndicate, a Joe Pesci-esque trash panda, and a gritty Erie Canal mouser named Cosmo who are tasked with solving neighborhood crimes.

The Dramatis Personae

Danger Kitty Gracie: Sharp, relentless, and a little too brave for her own good. Armed with a sharp mind and an elite team of field mice (The Whisker Network).
Cosmo: The muscle. Smells like old dock wood and canal water. He doesn't care about "justice," he just cares about keeping Gracie from using up all nine lives at once.
"Joe" the Trash Panda: Operating from the dumpster behind Simms Store. If you want the word on the street, it’ll cost you exactly half a pastrami sandwich. "You wanna know who chewed the Spectrum lines to 205? It's gonna cost ya, kid."
The Nut-Job Syndicate: The red squirrel gang dubbed "The Acorn Crew". They are a fast-talking, jittery, and completely chaotic band of fluffy muscle of nefarious means. They control the high-wire phone lines and the bird feeder extortion rackets.
