Watchmen Campground Utah — In a dramatic escalation of Danger Girls-versus-nature, the Danger Girls' desert basecamp was forcibly relocated today by a wind storm that reached "Biblical" proportions.

The event, which is now being classified as an involuntary aerodynamic experiment, saw the team's entire living structure launch into orbit—while they were still inside.

Liftoff sequence

It was 3:00 AM. The wind had upgraded from a "brisk breeze" to a "howling death scream." The Danger Girls were inside the tent, using their own body weight as primary stakes after the actual stakes were ripped from the sand an hour prior.

Suddenly, a gust of wind (estimated speed: Mach 0.05) hit the broadside of the tent.

"There was a loud CRACK as the main pole bent into a 'U' shape, I looked at the ceiling, the ceiling looked at me, and then the entire tent just… left the ground. We went horizontal screaming Auntie EMMM!" And with that, an orange nylon tumbleweed was born.

The Journey

For approximately eight seconds, the tent was a fully functioning, low-altitude aircraft. Inside, the Danger Girls experienced zero gravity, confusion, and the sensation of being tumbleweed.

The flight path took them:

Over their own picnic table.
Through a small patch of scrub brush.
Into the designated campsite of their neighbors.

The Crash Landing

The tent's flight ended abruptly when it slammed into a large yucca plant, immediately shredding the rainfly and snapping the remaining poles. The neighbors were awakened not by the wind, but by the sound of two women screaming, "WE WERE AIRBORN!" as they scrambled out of the wreckage.

The "basecamp" is now a permanent fixture in the neighbors site, as recovery operations were deemed impossible until the wind stops (expected: Tuesday).
